The Boulder program is the "original" Rebuilding Seminar. Dr. Bruce Fisher lived in Boulder and curated the program in his hometown. From there it grew into a global program. He traveled the world teaching others the material and how to run the program locally.
75% of students join by referral. Everyone in Boulder County knows about the program. If you are getting divorced it is nearly impossible to not hear, "Oh you are getting divorced? You should do the Rebuilding program."
The Boulder program is run by Bob Manthy, LPCC. He delivers the program and works part time running the program. He has a part time administrative assistant to handle student requests, student assessments, etc. The program relies heavily on volunteers - graduates of the program that want to give back.
Once a month an introduction to the program is offered. It is a 1 1/2 hour class to explain the rebuilding blocks and let prospective students meet the team. This is typically offered on Wednesday nights.
The program nurtures leads by encouraging them to take the Fisher Divorce Adjustment Survey - a self-test that asks 100 questions. The test takes about 10 minutes to complete. Students are then sent their results of how they are doing in 6 key areas. When people see how they are doing often they realize they need the program more than they realize. There is very little "selling" of the program.
Once students join they are greeted and supported by an "army" of volunteers. Graduates of the program help to make sure all students get attention and feel welcome. They also run breakout groups, organized activities outside of class, and provide additional support to students.
Once students complete the program they can join the Graduate Community. There are regular events for graduates, sometimes with more than 100 attendees. It is a chance for them to create new connections with people from other classes.
Upsells are additional services that are offered to buyers on top of the core class.
